Job Title: Global Communications Intern Role Summary: A 4‑month internship focused on supporting Northland’s internal and external communication efforts across earned media, social, and digital platforms. The position involves content creation, calendar management, media monitoring, event coordination, and collaboration with creative and digital teams to advance strategic messaging aligned with organizational objectives. Expectations: - Work autonomously on multiple projects with minimal supervision. - Deliver high‑quality written materials tailored to diverse audiences. - Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a proactive, can‑do attitude. - Maintain an organized workflow, meeting deadlines and quality standards. - Show curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving communications practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies. 2. Manage and update content calendars for consistent messaging. 3. Draft, edit, and proofread materials for employees, media, and industry stakeholders. 4. Monitor media and social channels daily; compile daily or weekly summary reports. 5. Prepare media materials, briefing notes, and interview support documents. 6. Aid in planning and logistics for events and conferences. 7. Collaborate with creative and digital teams on brand communications and social media content.
