**Job Title:** Technical Platform Director
**Role Summary:**
Lead the technical platform organization, overseeing cloud, Windows, and Linux infrastructure. Manage a team of five technical leaders, drive architectural strategy, and ensure secure, scalable, high‑performance infrastructure that supports business growth.
**Expectations:**
- Directly supervise five senior technical managers and their teams.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for cloud, platform, and technical product ownership.
- Develop and execute a long‑term infrastructure roadmap aligned with strategic business goals.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and technical excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect, implement, and optimize secure private cloud environments.
- Oversee Linux and Windows system stability, performance, and security.
- Champion virtualization (KVM) and containerization (Kubernetes, OKD) adoption.
- Lead cloud strategy, DevOps practices, and automation using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
- Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, security, and operations teams.
- Drive innovation initiatives to integrate emerging technologies and cost‑effective solutions.
- Prepare and present technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in Linux, Windows (Wintel) platforms, virtualization, and container orchestration.
- Proven experience in cloud strategy, DevOps, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong people‑management abilities: coaching, performance management, team building.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strategic thinking with a hands‑on execution mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Relevant infrastructure or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Red Hat Certified Engineer) are a plus.
