Qlikview - Senior Technical Support Analyst
Job Description
Job Title: Senior Technical Support Analyst – QlikView Role Summary: Provide advanced 2nd/3rd line support for a live QlikView Business Intelligence platform, maintain dashboards, data models and ETL processes, troubleshoot performance and data issues, collaborate with business stakeholders, and recommend enhancements during a hybrid contractor assignment with rotating onsite/off‑site duties. Expectations: - Deliver long‑term, high‑quality support for the BI solution. - Complete an initial onsite knowledge transfer, then alternate 2 months onsite with 2 months off‑site. - Act as a trusted technical advisor between IT and business users. - Maintain system stability, manage reload schedules, and produce clear documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to support tickets, diagnosing and resolving issues in QlikView applications. - Maintain and optimize dashboards, data models, and ETL pipelines. - Monitor and schedule reloads, ensuring ongoing system stability and performance. - Collaborate with business users to understand and document reporting requirements. - Recommend and influence new functionality and platform improvements. - Create and update support documentation and user guidance. - Provide technical expertise and recommendations to IT and business stakeholders. Required Skills: - Strong commercial experience supporting QlikView in a senior BI support or developer capacity. - Deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and BI architectures. - Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Experience working as a contractor or consultant. - SQL/database support knowledge (desired). - Exposure to Qlik Sense and enterprise‑scale environments (desired). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - QlikView (QVM) or Qlik Sense (QDS) certification is preferred; additional BI or SQL certifications are a plus.
