**Job Title** Business Analyst II, Financial Planning & Analysis **Role Summary** Provide advanced financial modeling, analysis and reporting to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business optimization across multiple units. Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, data‑driven recommendations that influence business decisions. - Maintain high‑quality, maintainable financial models and dashboards. - Communicate findings clearly to both finance and non‑finance audiences. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and update financial models for planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis. - Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports; identify trends and variances. - Create and maintain KPI dashboards in tools such as Tableau or PowerBI. - Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on performance vs. plan. - Support strategic initiatives with ROI assessment and business case development. - Analyze market and customer data to identify growth opportunities. - Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data integrity. - Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiency. **Required Skills** - 3+ years in finance, tax, or related analytical field. - 5+ years of advanced Excel (VBA, pivot tables, array functions, PowerPivot). - Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. - Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI). - Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles. - Ability to translate financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. - Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder influence skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required, but finance or analytics certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CBAP) are a plus.
