**Job Title:** Director of Manufacturing Operations **Role Summary:** Strategic leader responsible for overseeing multi‑site manufacturing operations across Europe, driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and working‑capital optimization. Leads integration of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and commercial functions to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and digital manufacturing initiatives. **Expectations:** - Deliver measurable improvements in throughput, cost, and profitability. - Build and sustain real‑time accountability systems across all facilities. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance. - Lead transformation roadmaps and drive adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and execute operational strategy for multiple manufacturing sites. - Align manufacturing and supply‑chain plans with engineering and commercial priorities for seamless product launches. - Implement and champion Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and digital manufacturing programs to enhance agility and efficiency. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial targets; take corrective actions as needed. - Develop and mentor high‑performing, inclusive teams; promote people‑centered leadership. - Manage cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, quality, logistics, and commercial teams. - Oversee working‑capital optimization and cost‑reduction initiatives. - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all sites. **Required Skills:** - Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and digital manufacturing tools. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making abilities. - Excellent communication and influencing skills across matrixed organizations. - Demonstrated ability to lead engineered‑to‑order manufacturing in global, multi‑site environments. - Hands‑on, shop‑floor presence with a focus on results and accountability. - Fluent English; additional language skills advantageous. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred). - Minimum 15 years of global manufacturing or OEM operations experience. - Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred. - Relevant continuous‑improvement or digital manufacturing certifications a plus.
