Business Project Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end project delivery for a major insurance portfolio, aligning strategy, finance, and stakeholder expectations. Drive roadmap planning, change management, and cross‑functional collaboration to achieve on‑time, on‑budget results in a multi‑vendor, matrixed environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design and maintain the strategic project roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
2. Manage complete project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
3. Develop, track, and report on project budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, and variance.
4. Partner with finance to deliver accurate spend reporting, ROI analysis, and benefit realization.
5. Lead change management activities for new systems, tools, and processes.
6. Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration among business, technology, and operations teams.
7. Manage multi‑vendor relationships, ensuring coordinated execution and accountability.
8. Identify, assess, and mitigate project and financial risks; enforce governance and compliance.
9. Prepare executive‑level presentations, financial reports, and progress summaries for senior leadership.
10. Support business case development with cost‑benefit analysis, scenario planning, and resource justification.
**Required Skills**
- Project financial management (budget creation, monitoring, reporting).
- Strategic roadmap planning and change‑management expertise.
- Strong stakeholder governance and negotiation skills.
- Experience in multi‑vendor or matrixed project environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Management (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of business project management experience in insurance, financial services, or consulting.
- PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification strongly preferred.
