Job title: Strategic Account Manager (Digital Marketing Agency) Role Summary: Own and expand a portfolio of 15–20 high‑value accounts or 25–40 SMB clients, acting as a trusted advisor who translates client objectives into actionable digital marketing plans. Drive growth through strategic relationships, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of SEO, SEM, SMM, and brand initiatives. Expectations: 3+ years in account or strategic account management for digital marketing/advertising; proven record of client relationship building and revenue growth; deep knowledge of marketing analytics, performance tracking, and data‑driven insight generation. Key Responsibilities: • Onboard and nurture new clients ensuring seamless transition and strong initial engagement. • Build and maintain strategic relationships with client contacts at all levels, including executive stakeholders. • Lead regular strategy calls to finalize deliverables, review results, and identify improvement opportunities. • Translate client goals into measurable marketing plans by collaborating with internal operations and delivery teams. • Monitor, analyze, and present performance data to demonstrate ROI and inform strategic decision‑making. • Identify client challenges and opportunities, propose new solutions, and upsell services to maximize value. • Drive client renewals and negotiate long‑term agreements. • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital best practices to deliver innovative ideas. Required Skills: • Account management and strategic partnership development. • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. • Expertise in SEO, PPC, social media management, and reputation building. • Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and reporting dashboards. • Ability to analyze marketing data, generate actionable insights, and present findings. • Familiarity with B2B digital marketing practices and digital marketing strategy formulation. • Basic understanding of website development and CMS. • Excellent time‑management and prioritization skills.
