Job Description
**Job title:** Information Technology Audit Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and execute internal IT audit engagements within a financial institution, delivering independent assurance on technology, change, cyber, payments, and third‑party risk areas. Develop audit plans, assess controls, and provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders. Mentor junior auditors and drive continuous improvement of audit processes. **Expectations:** - Manage a portfolio of high‑impact audits within budget and schedule constraints. - Influence executive leadership through clear, evidence‑based findings. - Foster a collaborative audit culture and maintain professional competence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and perform IT audit procedures covering technology, change management, cyber security, payments, and third‑party services. - Assess control frameworks, risk exposures, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. - Prepare audit evidence, draft engagement letters, and present insights to senior management and audit committees. - Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage audit scopes, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. - Coach and develop audit team members, promote best practices and knowledge sharing. - Contribute to the annual audit plan and resource allocation. **Required Skills:** - In‑depth knowledge of IT audit frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST, PCI DSS). - Strong analytical and critical thinking with the ability to synthesize complex information. - Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of influencing diverse stakeholders. - Project management skills: planning, resource allocation, and timeline adherence. - Proficient in audit‑software tools and spreadsheet modeling. - Familiarity with Agile and modern software development lifecycles (a plus). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. - Professional audit or security certifications preferred (CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM). - Additional certifications in project management or risk management are advantageous.
