Job Description
**Job Title** Site Security Director **Role Summary** Lead daily security operations for a large non‑profit site, ensuring comprehensive protection for employees and visitors. Develop and maintain security policies, emergency procedures, and threat assessment protocols. Serve as the primary liaison between the client and security team, oversee training and budget, and coordinate with local law‑enforcement and community partners. **Expectations** - Manage all site security functions and continuously improve procedures. - Maintain up‑to‑date emergency and security manuals. - Monitor threat levels and adjust staffing and tactics. - Provide clear communication, training, and support to client personnel, including senior management. **Key Responsibilities** - Oversee security operations, ensuring highest level of safety. - Document incidents and maintain accurate records. - Liaise between client and security company, advising on security expectations. - Update and enforce emergency procedures and security policies. - Create and maintain training calendar; conduct drills and training sessions. - Train new security staff on post orders and company policies. - Build relationships with local agencies (PAPD, MVPD, FBI, etc.). - Monitor campus and surrounding areas for threats. - Analyze reports, track trends, and recommend improvements. **Required Skills** - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. - Discretion, professionalism, and organizational multitasking. - Budget creation and data trend analysis. - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. - Ability to perform security officer duties as needed. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Minimum 4+ years in security management. - Valid California Guard Card. - Military or law‑enforcement background preferred. - Potential need to carry a CCW firearm.
