Job Description
Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer (Web Interface Developer) Role Summary: Design, develop, maintain, and test web interface and network management software for advanced MANET radios, ensuring responsive, mobile‑friendly performance that supports mission‑critical communication systems. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality, scalable web applications; collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams; adhere to secure coding practices; contribute to product roadmapping and technical documentation; participate in code reviews and automated testing processes; occasionally travel for local meetings or demos. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enhance the web interface for Silvus StreamCaster radios, employing JavaScript, HTML, and Python backend technologies. - Create, test, and deploy applications that run directly on the radio hardware. - Implement mobile‑friendly UI designs and integrate responsive frameworks. - Build and sustain automated UI test suites to verify functionality across browsers and devices. - Maintain version control, issue tracking, and continuous integration pipelines. - Follow coding standards, conduct peer code reviews, and ensure security compliance. - Support network management features and troubleshoot interface‑device integration issues. Required Skills: - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Python for backend development. - Experience building mobile‑friendly web interfaces. - Knowledge of UI test automation tools and frameworks. - Familiarity with C programming for embedded components. - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization abilities.
