Associate Director, AI Process Engineering (14‑Month Contract)
**Role Summary**
Lead enterprise‑wide process transformation by integrating AI, automation, and digital solutions to improve efficiency, customer experience, and operational impact across the organization.
**Expectations**

- Build and maintain governance, support models, and measurement frameworks for AI‑enabled processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify high‑impact AI and process improvement opportunities through impact sizing and business alignment.
- Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies, manual tasks, and technology leverage points.
- Evaluate workflow readiness for AI/automation by assessing standardization, input structure, variability, and exception handling.
- Design technology‑ready processes that standardize inputs, reduce variability, and embed modular logic with appropriate human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
- Define support models, SLAs, and escalation paths for technology‑enabled processes.
- Conduct prompt engineering to create high‑quality AI prompts, libraries, and enablement frameworks.
- Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to co‑design improved future states.
- Train process engineers on AI opportunity assessment, workflow readiness, AI embedding, and prompt engineering.
- Lead program operations: track project status, surface risks, accelerate delivery, and report updates to stakeholders.
- Develop playbooks, frameworks, and standards for consistent technology‑enabled process transformations.
- Champion process excellence practices to enhance maturity and performance.
- Triage intake requests, clarify scope, and engage delivery partners.
- Identify and implement internal team improvements to increase quality and efficiency.
- Independently manage projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategy and stakeholder expectations.
- Produce executive‑level current‑state maps, analysis summaries, and future‑state designs tailored to audiences.
- Collaborate with CSI, AI Strategy, AI Delivery, and other technology teams to enable business objectives.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma process transformation (elimination of waste, reduction of variation, standardization).
- 1–2 years experience embedding AI/automation solutions within business workflows.
- Strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, governance, and integration.
- Prompt engineering and AI prompt design skills.
- Project management and program execution capabilities.
- Workshop facilitation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to create detailed process maps, analysis reports, and future‑state designs.
- Knowledge of support model design, SLAs, and escalation procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (minimum) or equivalent process improvement certification.
- Optional certifications in AI/automation, project management (PMP/SPC), or data analytics.
