Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Systems Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and manage hybrid‑cloud infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. Lead full lifecycle ownership of servers, virtualization, security, and automation while ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational excellence. **Expactations:** - Own end‑to‑end infrastructure delivery and maintenance. - Deliver reliable, secure services with proactive monitoring and capacity planning. - Drive automation and IaC adoption to reduce manual effort and configuration drift. - Provide prompt customer support and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. - Contribute to strategic roadmap execution and incident resolution as a technical SME. **Key Responsibilities:** - Install, configure, and operate Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Azure (public & local), Google Cloud Platform, and VMware vSphere environments. - Implement security hardening, vulnerability management, identity & access controls, storage replication, and disaster‑recovery solutions. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and Ansible; script automation with PowerShell and KQL. - Perform health checks, patching, upgrades, and capacity management; manage change requests and approvals. - Automate operational tasks following DevOps practices; create runbooks and monitor for anomalies. - Provide daily tier‑1/2 support for server operations, troubleshooting, backup/restore activities. - Produce and update documentation: inventory, standards, configuration specs, and compliance evidence. - Participate in strategic planning, roadmap delivery, and root‑cause analysis for major incidents. **Required Skills:** - Windows Server & Linux system administration (RHEL or equivalent). - Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (incl. Azure Stack/Hyper‑V), Google Cloud Platform; hybrid‑cloud concepts. - Virtualization: VMware vSphere. - Scripting/automation: PowerShell, KQL, Terraform, Ansible, IaC principles. - Security, vulnerability, and identity/access management. - Disaster recovery, data replication, and orchestration. - Change management, incident response, and customer support. - Strong documentation and compliance orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Engineer, VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent.

Job Description
Job title: Business Analyst (12 Month Contract) Role Summary: Conduct business analysis for OMERS Portfolio Servicing Platform projects, spanning agile and waterfall methodologies. Own requirements elicitation, backlog management, testing, reporting, change management, and post‑implementation support to enhance investment applications and processes. Expectations: - Deliver clear, accurate documentation of scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. - Maintain proactive communication with cross‑functional stakeholders and technology teams. - Provide timely analysis, risk mitigation, and recommendations to improve delivery practices. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Platform Owners to prioritise backlog items and allocate resources for road‑map initiatives. - Lead all phases of project life cycle: gather, analyse, test, train, implement, and support. - Create and maintain user stories, business requirements documents, and test plans. - Design complex reports and dashboards (SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Crystal) for investment professionals. - Execute performance and integration tests; manage defect tracking and resolution. - Apply change‑management principles: stakeholder impact analysis, end‑user training, communications. - Collaborate with technology teams on system enhancements, upgrades, and patches. - Produce support documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge‑base articles. - Identify and mitigate risks, conduct ad‑hoc root‑cause analysis, and recommend solutions. - Advocate continuous improvement in business analysis and project delivery. Required Skills: - 1‑3 years of business analysis in investment application environments (production support, change initiatives, large transformations). - Strong analytical capability with SQL and advanced Excel proficiency. - Expertise in requirements elicitation, business process modelling, user story creation, source‑to‑target mapping. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Visio, Power BI, and reporting tools (SSRS, Crystal). - Knowledge of exchange‑traded and OTC investment lifecycles, including exotic instruments. - Experience with leading investment platforms (e.g., Calypso, CRD, SimCorp, Eagle, Bloomberg, Aladdin). - Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, with a growth mindset and ability to handle ambiguity. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. - CPA or CFA enrollment considered an asset. - Professional certifications in Business Analysis, Change Management, Process Improvement, Quality Assurance, or Project Management are assets.
