**Job Title:** Gen AI Data Scientist
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end generative AI solution design and deployment, translating business KPIs into scalable Azure/Databricks‑based AI systems and ensuring robust model operation and monitoring.
**Expactations:**
- 5+ years of applied data science with 2+ years in Generative AI/LLMs
- Master’s or PhD in CS, Data Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong command of Azure AI/ML, MLOps, and Databricks workflows
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own the AI experiment lifecycle: concept, infra design, integration, and production rollout.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define success metrics, KPIs, and measurable AI outcomes.
- Architect data pipelines and AI workflows on Azure and Databricks, including prompt engineering and multi‑modal model selection.
- Engineer and fine‑tune LLMs, RAG pipelines, and multi‑agent systems using prompt & retrieval strategies.
- Develop automated model evaluation, monitoring, and performance dashboards.
- Produce clean, production‑grade Python code (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Pydantic).
- Document designs, decisions, and experiment results for technical and non‑technical audiences.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced Python programming and ML libraries (PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow optional).
- Prompt engineering, LLM fine‑tuning, and retrieval‑augmented generation expertise.
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, Google ADK.
- Databricks data engineering and ML workflow experience.
- Azure AI/ML ecosystem proficiency, including MLOps and data management best practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business‑tech translation abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- No specific certifications required; Azure AI/ML or Databricks certifications are a plus.
