**Job Title**
Internal Communications Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of internal communication strategies for a public‑services organization of ~1,600 employees. Build a strong sense of belonging, ensure clear, cross‑departmental messaging, and showcase collective and individual achievements through newsletters, intranet, visual assets, and organized events.
**Expectations**
- Deliver a coherent, engaging communication brand aligned with organisational goals.
- Maintain high quality of French language copy (writing, editing, grammar).
- Operate independently with creative initiative and strong project management.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Strategy & Planning** – Co‑create and implement the annual internal communication plan, measuring impact and adapting tactics.
2. **Content Creation** – Write, edit, and publish the internal journal, website articles, press releases, and social‑intranet posts.
3. **Design & Visuals** – Produce print, digital, photo, and video assets; manage design standards using Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Canva.
4. **Intranet Management** – Administer, update, and refresh the intranet; lead redesign and launch of a new platform (Joomla/WordPress).
5. **Event Coordination** – Plan and execute internal events (welcome days, award ceremonies, staff holidays, mobility week, etc.).
6. **Stakeholder Collaboration** – Work closely with all public‑service departments to capture and disseminate relevant stories, best practices, and project outcomes.
**Required Skills**
- Exceptional written and verbal French communication.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva.
- Experience managing CMS such as Joomla or WordPress.
- Strong editorial judgement, sense of narrative and visual hierarchy.
- Project management, timeline adherence, budget awareness.
- Event planning and coordination.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into a clear, concise message.
- Team‑oriented, confidential, and respectful of organizational culture.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
- Optional certifications: Adobe Certified Expert (ACE), Canva Design Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent, CMS administration credentials.
