Job Description
Job title: Strategy Manager – Fixed Term Contract Role Summary: Lead strategic planning, valuation and cross‑functional initiatives to drive growth and maximize company valuation, reporting to Head of FP&A & Strategy. Expectations: Deliver clear, data‑driven insights, align senior leadership decisions, manage board materials, and mentor a Strategy Associate. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and evolve long‑term strategic and financial plans aligning with valuation goals. • Manage board materials and investor presentations, ensuring concise, storytelling‑focused content. • Lead critical strategic initiatives, coordinating cross‑functional alignment. • Conduct valuation modelling, scenario planning, and business case analysis for investment decisions. • Direct Strategy Associate’s work, reviewing business plan modelling and output quality. • Support departmental leaders in integrating operational plans with company strategy. • Perform competitor and market research to inform marketing and product strategy. • Provide ad‑hoc strategic analysis to support senior leadership and board decisions. Required Skills: • 3+ years in top‑tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or high‑growth scale‑up (finance/insurance preferred). • Strong verbal & written communication, capable of presenting to senior leadership and board. • Advanced research & analytical abilities, interpreting complex market data into insights. • Proven project management, leading cross‑functional initiatives within scope and deadline. • Knowledge of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and insurance market processes. • Proficient in financial structures, capital markets, valuation drivers, and financial modelling. • Analytical problem‑solving with pragmatic, structured approach. • Self‑directed, proactive leadership presence. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s welcome). • Relevant certifications in financial modelling or strategic analysis preferred.
