Senior Performance Marketing Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead the paid acquisition strategy at a high‑growth consumer business, managing a multi‑hundred‑thousand‑pound monthly ad spend. Own core PPC channels (Google Search, Maps, UAC), expand high‑intent platforms (Meta, Reddit, others), execute app growth campaigns, and drive conversion rate optimisation. Build‑out and maintain the attribution framework, data layer, and analytics dashboards, collaborating with SEO, Growth, Creative, and Product teams.
**Expectations**
- 5+ years of proven performance‑marketing execution, with senior‑lead experience managing multi‑six–figure budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to scale user acquisition and revenue while reducing CAC.
- Hands‑on mastery of Google Ads and practical expertise in Meta, Reddit and emerging paid media.
- Strong analytical mindset: SQL, data‑driven testing, attribution modelling.
- Technical competency in event tagging, pixel configuration, GA4, Firebase, and marketing mix modelling.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Channel Management** – Own & optimised Google Search, Maps, App Campaigns; test, pivot, and expand Meta, Reddit, and retargeting channels.
2. **App Growth** – Drive Apple Search Ads, Google UAC, and re‑engagement for installs and bookings.
3. **Conversion Optimisation** – Coordinate CRO experiments on landing pages, copy, and localisation across markets.
4. **Attribution & Analytics** – Build and maintain a robust marketing attribution framework, tag implementation, incremental testing, and integrate marketing mix models.
5. **Data & Tracking** – Configure and QA conversion events in GA4, Ads, Firebase; ensure clean, reconciled campaign‑level data.
6. **Reporting & Testing** – Write SQL queries, build dashboards; design, run, and interpret A/B and incrementality tests.
7. **Collaboration** – Partner closely with SEO, Growth, Creative, and Product to align messaging, discoverability, and UX.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced Google Ads expertise; comfortable deploying cross‑platform paid media.
- Expertise in setting up, managing, and analysing events, pixels, and attribution logic.
- Proficient in SQL; experienced with data‑driven dashboards (Looker, Data Studio, Tableau).
- Strong background in marketing mix modelling and budget allocation based on analytic insights.
- Solid understanding of App Store optimization, UAC, and re‑engagement strategies.
- Analytical rigor: design and interpretation of A/B and incremental testing.
- Experimental mindset; ability to troubleshoot tracking issues and optimise at granular level.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Google Ads Certifications (Search & Performance Max).
- Optional: Meta Blueprint, Adobe Analytics, or other paid‑media certifications.
