Job Title: High Voltage Project Manager
Role Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of 11kV substation and grid connection projects, ensuring technical, safety, and regulatory compliance while managing design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
Expactations
• Cultivate project ownership for senior authorized personnel, cable jointers, site supervisors, or experienced HV project managers.
• Drive project life cycle from design review to closeout, maintaining scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure.
• Report status and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor all project stages, including design, civil, electrical, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with CDM, NRSWA, DNO/ICP standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage permits, risk assessments, and RAMS documents.
• Track milestones, control change orders, and maintain accurate project reports.
• Liaise with clients, DNOs, and third‑party stakeholders to align technical and contractual matters.
• Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout project execution.
Required Skills
• Proven experience on 11kV substation or grid connection projects.
• Knowledge of DNO, ICP, and private network environments.
• Understanding of EV charging or BESS installation projects (preferred).
• Strong organisational, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross‑functional teams.
Required Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• SAP (Senior Authorised Person) certification or equivalent HV authorization (preferred).
