**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Support Agile teams within the APS domain, ensuring stability, availability, and technical reliability of production and non‑production environments. Drive application delivery, infrastructure migration to cloud, release management, monitoring, and automation across multiple environments.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver reliable infrastructure solutions that meet business and security standards.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and operations to meet sprint goals.
- Maintain high system availability and continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provision, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Automate routine tasks using Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Manage releases across dev, test, and production environments.
- Design, implement, and monitor system and application metrics.
- Optimize file transfer processes and infrastructure performance.
- Support cloud migration initiatives and maintain cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain version control repositories (Git).
- Implement and manage containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Configure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Manage secrets and secure configurations (HashiCorp Vault).
- Maintain repository and artifact management (Nexus).
- Apply network fundamentals (VPN, NAT, routing).
- Author and maintain CloudFormation Templates and Helm charts.
**Required Skills:**
- Linux & Windows Server administration (mandatory).
- Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash (mandatory).
- Configuration management with Ansible (mandatory).
- Version control with Git (mandatory).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
- Container orchestration (Kubernetes) and container runtime (Docker).
- Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Secrets management (HashiCorp Vault).
- Repository management (Nexus).
- Monitoring tools and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Network fundamentals (VPN, NAT, routing).
- API management tools, Helm charts, CloudFormation Templates (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CompTIA Linux+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or similar are a plus.
