Procentia is a multi-award-winning software and technology company specialising in the Pensions and Bulk Purchase Annuities market.
Since 2002, we’ve been developing intelligently designed ‘PenTech’ solutions that help pension schemes and insurers provide lasting value for their administrators and members.
We’re experts in the pensions sector. That’s all we do!
Our flagship solution is IntelliPen, a leading online administration and management system created for the modern pension era, not yesterday’s. Our software helps pension schemes of all types and sizes manage exceptional volumes of data and provide beautiful member experiences, while minimising the need for administrator intervention and involvement.
We're an innovative, visionary and fast-growing tech company. Through insight and research, we anticipate the future needs of our industry to support pensions schemes on their digital transformation journeys. We work to ensure their investment in our technology is future-proofed and their data is secure.
As a Web Developer you will report to the Web Development Lead and collaborate with all colleagues in the business, including delivery teams, as well as directly with our clients.
We are looking for contemporary Web Developers to join our already successful Web team here at Procentia. You will be crucial in unlocking the potential of our market-leading software and will be a key member in the team that designs, develops, and maintains sophisticated public, member, and employer websites, which integrate deeply with our back-office pensions administration platform, IntelliPen.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, adept at communicating with both a technical and non-technical audience. You will be able to define the best solutions and work in an agile, collaborative way to deliver timely results, supporting, maintaining and extending existing sites and working closely with key stakeholders both client-side and within Procentia’s delivery teams.
Procentia is currently designing and building our next-generation IntelliSite platform, based on Umbraco. As with our existing Web platform, this new product will integrate with our other pension software solutions. Experience in designing and building successful Web projects using one or more contemporary .NET-based CMS would be a distinct advantage, including experience of modular component and page template design, content version management, content workflow creation, and data/asset management. You will also need solid experience of using APIs to power front-end data displays.
Most of our pre-existing client Web projects are based on our existing in-house CMS, which is built using a mixture of C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET Web Forms. For the front-end, HTML pages are primarily built using either the Bootstrap or Foundation for CSS, with JQuery used to power dynamic/interactive elements.
The development of our applications relies on Microsoft SQL Server, so an ability to create effective SQL Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions is also essential.
What will you be doing:
Meet with clients and colleagues to determine website needs and follows up with regular conversations and updates
Create website layouts with digital or handmade sketches to organise information and allow for intuitive usage
