**Job Title:** Sr. Salesforce Data Integration Engineer – Data Fabric
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and maintain high‑performance, secure data integration solutions between Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing, Data, AgentForce) and external enterprise systems, data warehouses, and third‑party applications. Provide technical leadership, collaborate across functional teams, and ensure data quality, governance, and scalability.
**Expectations:**
- 10+ years in IT with 5+ years of enterprise data integration experience.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, Metadata).
- Proven ability to design scalable integration architectures and lead teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and ETL tools.
- Demonstrated experience building integrations for data lakes/warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with event‑driven patterns (Platform Events, Change Data Capture).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to mentor junior staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and design scalable integration solutions between Salesforce and external systems.
- Define and select integration patterns (real‑time, batch, event‑driven, API‑led).
- Implement, configure, and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, or custom code.
- Build data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and synchronization with on‑premises or cloud data warehouses.
- Create event‑driven integrations with Salesforce Platform Events, CDC, and Streaming APIs.
- Optimize data flows for performance, error handling, retry logic, and resiliency.
- Define data models, mappings, and transformations; ensure data quality, deduplication, and reconciliation.
- Monitor pipeline performance, availability, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Salesforce admins, developers, business analysts, and architects to align solutions with business needs.
- Mentor and lead integration developers; conduct code reviews and technical workshops.
- Document integration architecture, data flows, and technical standards.
**Required Skills:**
- Salesforce integration (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, Metadata APIs).
- Enterprise data integration design and implementation.
- Cloud platforms: AWS and Azure.
- ETL tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, MuleSoft, Talend, DataStage).
- Data warehousing platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Event‑driven architecture (Platform Events, CDC).
- Strong data modeling, mapping, and transformation skills.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance.
- Leadership, mentoring, and cross‑functional collaboration.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Platform Developer) strongly recommended.
- Integration platform certifications (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend) preferred.
