Job Description
**Job Title:** Intern – Email Administration / Client Support **Role Summary:** Motivated undergraduate gaining hands‑on experience managing enterprise email environments, troubleshooting Outlook/OWA issues, and supporting IT service operations within a corporate setting. **Expectations:** - Provide timely assistance for email client and webmail problems. - Produce clear technical documentation and user aids. - Escalate tickets appropriately and collaborate with team members. - Participate in meetings and contribute to ongoing projects. - Demonstrate eagerness to learn new tools and technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Resolve Outlook and Outlook Web Access (OWA) issues. - Troubleshoot email connectivity and client configuration (Out of Office, folder management, archiving, encryption, attachments, room bookings). - Support secure webmail functions, including password resets and secure messaging. - Maintain and validate technical documentation, workflow diagrams, metric reports, and job aids. - Identify and route support tickets to the correct internal teams. - Attend team meetings and assist with project tasks as assigned. **Required Skills:** - Strong interest in IT systems administration. - Excellent problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills. - Familiarity with desktop operating systems, basic networking, cybersecurity, and email systems. - Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, VDI, or Windows Server (preferred). - Experience with tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Splunk (preferred). - Basic proficiency in a scripting language (PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, etc.). - Detail‑oriented with strong teamwork abilities and a proactive learning attitude. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in an accredited 4‑year Bachelor’s program in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. - Anticipated graduation date ≥ 2027. - No specific certifications required.
