**Job Title:** Principal ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, enterprise‑wide ServiceNow solutions across core modules (ITSM, CSM, TSM, FSM). Own platform architecture, champion best practices, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate complex business requirements into sustainable technical implementations.

- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of ServiceNow releases, features, and platform capabilities.
- Foster a culture of code quality, reuse, and adherence to platform standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and design solutions across ServiceNow modules, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Build and deploy scalable, maintainable features, workflows, automation, and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and tangible ServiceNow releases.
- Mentor and oversee junior developers; conduct code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural governance.
- Evaluate and implement new ServiceNow capabilities in line with releases and strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory controls (e.g., Sarbanes‑Oxley) through proper development processes and documentation.
**Required Skills:**
- 7+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience across ITSM, CSM, TSM, and FSM.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, platform SDK, and development best practices.
- Proficiency in client‑side and server‑side scripting (JavaScript, GlideAjax, GlideRecord).
- Extensive experience designing and building integrations (REST, SOAP, web services).
- Strong workflow and business rule design capabilities; experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and scripting.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in large enterprise environments.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Professional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator, Platform Developer II) strongly preferred.
