Job Description
**Job Title:** Network Engineer (F/M) **Role Summary:** Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructures. Provide tier 2/3 incident resolution, ensure continuity of operations, develop documentation, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and drive technological vigilance. **Expactations:** *Operate at a senior technical level with broad expertise across routing, WAN, security, virtualization, cloud, and ITSM.* *Collaborate closely with IT operations, application teams, and users.* *Demonstrate proactive risk management and continuous improvement in network reliability and security.* **Key Responsibilities:** - Deploy, administer, and maintain network and security architectures (hardware & software). - Manage tier 2/3 incidents and coordinate resolution with operational teams. - Prevent disruptions, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery plans. - Identify and resolve network anomalies and failures. - Apply quality assurance and security policy controls. - Provide technical support and client assistance. - Create and maintain documentation for deployment, updates, and operations. - Liaise with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders. - Coordinate with DSI teams on day‑to‑day operations and projects. - Collaborate with systems and application teams for application/tool deployment. - Conduct technology scouting and stay abreast of industry developments. **Required Skills:** - Advanced routing: VPN, BGP, OSPF. - WAN: SASE, SD‑WAN. - Security appliances: Fortinet, Cato Networks, Aruba. - Windows & Linux (DHCP/DNS/AD). - Virtualization: VMware, Veeam. - Wi‑Fi: Extreme Networks, Cisco. - Remote desktop: RDS/Citrix. - Cloud: IaaS, AWS, PaaS. - Cybersecurity: NAC, MDM, EPP/EDR/XDR, NDR, Anti‑spam, Patch Management, SIEM, SOAR, WAF, IAM, IAG, DLP, Encryption, Labeling, PAM. - Office 365: Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive. - ITSM/ITAM tools: Matrix42, Ivanti. - ISO 27001 standards knowledge. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s (Bac +5) in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 4 years of experience in the outlined technical environments. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are strongly preferred.
