Job Description

**Job Title** Naval Automation Engineer (F/M) **Role Summary** Integrate, program, and validate propulsion motor control systems for naval projects, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance through rigorous testing and commissioning. **Expectations** - Deliver fully functional control solutions on schedule - Maintain accurate documentation and schematics - Adhere to safety, technical, and regulatory standards - Perform on‑site testing and commissioning in domestic and international environments **Key Responsibilities** - Design and integrate control‑command systems for naval propulsion motors - Program PLCs and configure associated interfaces - Create, monitor, and control functional schematics and wiring lists - Lead test operations, onboard commissioning, and validation activities - Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, shipyards, and clients (civil and military) - Ensure technical and regulatory conformity of installations - Travel to shipyards and client sites in France and abroad as required **Required Skills** - PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, or equivalent) - Diagnostic and commissioning expertise - Proficiency in functional schematics and wiring diagrams - Technical English communication - Strong analytical, autonomous, and adaptable mindset **Required Education & Certifications** - Engineering degree (Bac+5) in Automation, Electrotechnics, or Control Systems - Minimum 5 years’ experience in integration and commissioning of automated systems, preferably in naval or complex industrial sectors.
