**Job Title:** Actuarial Internship (Summer 2026) **Role Summary:** Provide actuarial support across multiple business lines, contributing to modeling, experience studies, reporting tools, and foreign exchange analysis. Work under experienced actuaries, gain exposure to industry tools, and develop technical and communication skills in a structured internship program. **Expectations:** - Current enrollment or recent graduate in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or a related major. - Demonstrated intent to pursue a Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries (FSA). - Ability to pass at least one actuarial exam. - Strong analytical mindset and collaborative communication skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Compress and optimize cluster models to improve runtime performance. - Update experience studies to identify claims frequency and severity by demographic groups, influencing pricing assumptions. - Assist in the SAS Asset Reporting Tool to track projection changes and analyze future performance. - Analyze foreign exchange rate impacts on international insurance and retirement businesses. - Identify model elements susceptible to economic conditions, design and run test scenarios, analyze results, and summarize findings. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in actuarial mathematics (probability, statistics, numerical analysis, compound interest). - Experience with Excel and database or actuarial modeling tools. - Effective verbal and written communication; teamwork orientation. - Leadership experience (informal or formal). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree or coursework in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. - Pass at least one actuarial exam. - Commitment to obtaining an FSA credential with the Society of Actuaries.
