**Job Title** Financial Representative Intern **Role Summary** A part‑time internship that mirrors the full‑time Financial Representative position. Interns develop a client base, conduct financial planning, and sell insurance and investment products while receiving mentorship, training, and licensing support. **Expectations** - Build and grow a personal financial planning practice. - Prospect, network, and secure client meetings. - Prepare and present financial plans and product recommendations. - Complete required insurance licenses and pursue additional registrations (Series 6, 63, SIE, CFP). - Engage in weekly coaching, training, and performance reviews. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify and contact potential clients through prospecting and networking. 2. Conduct client interviews to assess financial goals and current assets. 3. Develop tailored financial plans and recommend insurance, investment, and annuity products. 4. Use proprietary planning software to produce client documents. 5. Maintain accurate client files and follow regulatory compliance. 6. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and coaching calls. 7. Obtain and renew life, accident, and health insurance licenses; pursue Series 6/63 or CFP certifications. 8. Track and report on business development metrics and performance targets. **Required Skills** - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Sales and prospecting acumen. - Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. - Entrepreneurial mindset and self‑motivation. - Basic financial literacy and analytical thinking. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. **Required Education & Certifications** - Full‑time undergraduate student (junior or senior). - Interest in finance and willingness to pursue licensing. - Eligibility to obtain Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses; support provided for SIE, Series 6, Series 63, or CFP coursework.
