**Job Title:**
Software Engineer – Airline Operations
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end software solutions that enable efficient airline operations. Work directly with dispatch, flight crews, and operations teams to build tools that improve reliability, safety, and customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and maintain front‑end applications (SPA) using modern frameworks.
- Develop back‑end services and APIs that interact with flight operations data.
- Design databases, SQL schemas, and data models for operational workflows.
- Debug and resolve production issues in real time, providing quick and effective support.
- Conduct technical discovery, evaluate trade‑offs, and produce rapid prototypes to inform architecture.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and airline operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Participate fully in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives).
- Contribute to system reliability through monitoring, logging, and automated testing.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Proficient in full‑stack development and familiar with both front‑end and back‑end technologies.
- Solid SQL knowledge with experience in schema design and data modeling.
- Proven ability to debug live production systems and handle on‑call responsibilities.
- Experience building single‑page applications (React, Vue, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
- Self‑driven and able to independently research, prototype, and deliver with limited guidance.
**Preferred Skills:**
- TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, GraphQL, Docker, PostgreSQL.
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience or exposure to the airline or aviation industry.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, **or** equivalent professional experience that demonstrates comparable expertise.
