Job Description
**Job Title** Analyst, Project Operations **Role Summary** Provide analytical support to the Manager, Project Operations by leveraging data-driven methods to optimize consolidation, logistics, and inventory processes. Develop metrics, reports, and dashboards; drive operational improvements; and coordinate with carriers, vendors, and stores to resolve issues. **Expactations** - Deliver accurate, timely reports on logistics, inventory, and financial performance. - Lead data‑driven improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost reduction. - Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders. - Maintain high data quality and master data integrity for consolidation and logistics. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and maintain inventory metrics, replenishment models, and in‑stock targets. - Create and update reports on carrier KPIs, vendor scorecards, freight costs, and financial/operational metrics. - Analyze large datasets, validate data, and identify trends and anomalies. - Implement process improvements in warehousing and logistics using cross‑functional collaboration. - Develop, review, and update SOPs; audit and manage master data. - Liaise with carriers, vendors, and stores to address operational issues and recommend solutions. - Support project management functions and manage multiple concurrent tasks. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical expertise; critical thinking and data interpretation. - Finance literacy: budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial impact analysis. - Solid understanding of supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations. - Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx; knowledge of Microsoft Visio is an asset. - Excellent written and verbal communication; applicable presentation skills. - Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years analytical experience in logistics or operations. - No mandatory certifications, but experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) preferred.
