Job Description
Job Title: Full‑Stack Developer – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract Role Summary: Deliver secure, high‑performance cloud‑first applications in a Microsoft/Azure environment. Lead end‑to‑end development, from analysis and design through implementation, testing, and deployment, modernising legacy systems and integrating with Azure services. Expectations: - Master ASP.NET Core (minimal APIs, middleware, DI, async patterns). - Design and implement RESTful APIs. - Structure solutions with DDD or modular, testable components. - Deploy and manage Azure Function Apps, App Services, API Management, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, Event Grid/Hubs. - Write Azure DevOps YAML pipelines (CI/CD), integrate tests, use IaC (ARM/Bicep/Terraform). - Build SPA front‑ends with React, Angular, or Blazor; manage state, auth, accessibility. - Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server/Azure SQL schemas, T‑SQL, EF Core migrations. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse requirements and design scalable, maintainable solutions. - Develop, test, and deploy backend services and front‑end components. - Implement Azure‑centric architectures and recommend appropriate services. - Manage CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and feature flag strategy. - Troubleshoot performance issues and conduct code reviews. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate legacy systems into cloud platform. Required Skills: - C#/.NET 6+ (ASP.NET Core, minimal APIs, middleware, DI, async). - RESTful API design, DDD or modular architecture. - Azure Functions, App Services, API Management, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, Event Grid/Hubs. - Azure DevOps: YAML pipelines, testing integration, IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform). - SPA frameworks: React, Angular, or Blazor (state management, auth, accessibility). - SQL Server/Azure SQL: T‑SQL, EF Core, query tuning, migrations. - Strong debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (or equivalent) preferred.
