Job title Quantitative Developer Role Summary Develop, modernise, and optimise complex C++ modelling engines that support asset‑management decision making, integrating AI tools and improving build systems for scalability. Expactations - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code in a legacy codebase. - Apply advanced mathematical concepts to modelling and simulation logic. - Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and ask detailed technical questions. Key Responsibilities - Refactor and modernise bespoke quant modelling codebases. - Design and enhance calculation engines for portfolio analysis and financial decision logic. - Integrate AI‑based tools into engineering workflows to increase productivity and clarity. - Improve build systems and support development of a modelling domain‑specific language (DSL). - Reverse‑engineer existing behaviour to enable scalable, reliable performance. Required Skills - Strong C++ development experience in finance, quantitative, or other mathematically intensive domains. - Excellent proficiency in complex mathematical modelling and simulation. - Familiarity with legacy code maintenance and modern C++ best practices. - Ability to work independently in a small, technical team environment. - Clear written and verbal communication skills. Required Education & Certifications - Master’s degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Physics, Astrophysics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, with 3+ years of professional experience, or a PhD in a similar field. ---
