Job Description

Job title: IT Technical Project Manager (PDM/PLM Specialist) – F/M Role summary: Manage and implement IT tools (software and hardware) supporting technical center activities, including PDM/PLM systems, ERP integration, and R&D applications. Coordinate with key‑users, business teams, external partners, and developers to deliver projects, provide user support, train staff, and maintain documentation and system baselines. Expectations: - Deliver end‑to‑end IT projects for technical centers. - Ensure smooth deployment, integration, and operation of PDM/PLM and ERP (SAP) solutions across the organization. - Provide 1st and 2nd level support, user training, and procedural governance. - Continuously monitor technology trends relevant to design and R&D offices. Key responsibilities: - Drive project planning, scope definition, and execution for tech‑specific IT initiatives. - Analyze user requirements, design technical solutions, and coordinate implementation with stakeholders. - Configure, maintain, and upgrade PDM/PLM platforms; link them to SAP ERP. - Administer R&D applications (CAO/FAO, scientific calculations), including license management. - Deliver 1st/2nd‑tier user support (access, authorizations, tool usage). - Develop and distribute IT procedure manuals for end‑users. - Conduct user training sessions and promote best practices. - Perform needs assessments and propose system enhancements. - Ensure compliance with internal standards and security protocols. - Maintain proactive monitoring of software and hardware evolution. Required skills: - In‑depth knowledge of PDM/PLM systems and technical application management. - Strong project management, data governance, and application lifecycle skills. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Good written and spoken English (technical). Required education & certifications: - Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar technical project management role within industry. - Relevant certifications in PDM/PLM or project management are advantageous.
