**Job title**
Artificial Intelligence Engineer Intern (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Six‑month internship focused on designing, developing, and deploying a unified battery‑test management system. The role combines data engineering, data governance, generative AI, automation, document management, and interactive dashboards to trace the entire test life‑cycle—from customer request to automated final report generation—in an industrial energy‑storage setting.
**Expectations**
- Final‑year engineering student or Master 2 in Data Engineering, Data Science, AI, or Software Engineering (Bac +5).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams (IA & data, batteries, IT).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; fluent in technical English.
- Willingness to learn and implement MLOps and CI/CD practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Requirements gathering and process mapping with end‑users.
2. Design target architecture and specify automation modules.
3. Develop an automated report generation module using LLM/RAG techniques.
4. Build and implement data collection, cleaning, and pipeline workflows.
5. Create interactive dashboards for test tracking, request status, and report metrics.
6. Write and execute unit and functional tests for developed modules.
7. Perform system validation, continuous improvement, and deployment in an internal environment.
8. Document system architecture, code, and user guides; train internal teams.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in Python 3 and related data‑management/engineering libraries (pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy, etc.).
- Experience or strong interest in AI technologies: LLMs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Familiarity with data pipeline construction, ETL concepts, and data visualization tools (Dash, Power BI, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, Git, Docker, and deployment practices.
- Understanding of data governance, confidentiality, and security in AI deployments.
- Strong written and oral documentation skills in English and French.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current enrollment in the final year of an engineering program or Master 2 in Data Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Software Engineering (Bac +5).
- No mandatory certifications, but knowledge of relevant AI or data‑engineering certificates is a plus.
