Job Title International Business Manager – Canada Role Summary Provide hands‑on consulting and strategic oversight to Master Franchisees to achieve category leadership, strong financial performance, and exceptional guest experience. Expectations - Deliver regional EBITDA, sales and development targets. - Drive continuous improvement and profitability across franchise operations. - Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement business strategies, goals, and annual operating plans aligned with corporate objectives. - Lead new market entry, franchisee onboarding, site qualification, design, construction and opening sequencing. - Produce monthly/quarterly forecasts, budget reviews, and performance analyses for senior management. - Ensure brand standards in operations, food safety, and guest interaction. - Evaluate margins, identify profitability barriers, and coordinate corrective action plans. - Communicate business goals, share best practices, and promote collaboration among franchisees. - Analyze regional and country performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimize returns. - Provide coaching on people development, organizational structure, and succession planning. - Coordinate regional rollout of new products, LTOs, suppliers, supply chain solutions, brand identity, and analytics initiatives. Required Skills - Global mindset with deep understanding of the Canadian market and trade areas. - Strong financial and operational expertise with full P&L ownership experience. - Proven track record of accelerating growth or turning around underperforming businesses. - Excellent mediation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. - Ability to motivate, coach, and communicate effectively in English and other regional languages. - Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of regional differences. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience. - Minimum 10+ years of QSR or retail management experience in a multinational environment. - Demonstrated experience in new store openings and franchisee consulting. - Strong financial and operations expertise.
