Job Description

**Job Title** Technical Project Manager – Live Events **Role Summary** Lead the technical planning, cost estimation, resource allocation, and on‑site execution of live events ranging from conferences and awards to high‑end parties. Coordinate audio, video, and lighting disciplines, liaise with internal teams and clients, and ensure seamless delivery from bid to close. **Expectations** - Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems. - Provide accurate costings and resource plans based on client briefs. - Manage projects on‑site, delivering events to specification and within budget. - Build and maintain positive client relationships while guiding technical teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare detailed quotations, budgets, and production schedules. - Coordinate with internal departments (AV, lighting, set‑design, crew) to secure required resources. - Lead on‑site technical management, troubleshooting, and quality control during events. - Conduct post‑event reviews and update standard operating procedures. - Stay current with industry technology trends and integrate new solutions where appropriate. **Required Skills** - In‑depth technical expertise in live‑event audio, video, and lighting. - Proven project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning. - Strong client‑facing communication and negotiation abilities. - Leadership capability to manage crews and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. - Problem‑solving aptitude for rapid response to technical issues on site. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Media Production, or related field. - Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or AV/AV‑Certified Technician credentials preferred.
