Job Title: IT Project Delivery Manager
Role Summary: Lead and optimize project delivery processes, governance, and methodologies for the IT Applications department, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and continuous improvement. Oversee a mixed team of internal staff and external consultants, coach stakeholders, and drive maturity across project life cycles.
Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, standardized project outcomes that align with enterprise architecture and business priorities. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, foster a learning culture, and maintain governance compliance. Provide mentorship, community of practice leadership, and proactive performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement IPDO mission, vision, goals, and operating model; formalize into charter.
- Design, embed, and evolve project delivery processes, tools, and standards (waterfall, iterative, agile).
- Establish governance frameworks that align projects with IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
- Coach and mentor IPDO, IT application managers, and other stakeholders; lead communities of practice.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities; evaluate delivery performance using key metrics and drive corrective actions.
- Recruit, structure, and develop the dedicated team (solution architects, analysts, testers, project managers, release coordinators).
- Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and cultivate a high‑performance team culture.
- Act as senior leadership liaison and trusted advisor on project delivery matters.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of IT project delivery experience with deep knowledge of methodologies and technologies.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture, COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF, and governance best practices.
- Proven leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Fluency in French or Dutch, proficiency in the other national language and English.
- Organizational and prioritization skills, results‑focused mindset, and resilience.
- Ability to manage mixed teams, external consultants, and cross‑functional resources.
Required Education & Certifications
- Higher education diploma in IT, Business, or related field.
- Professional certifications in ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF, or equivalent project delivery standards preferred.
