**Job title:** Business Architect
**Role Summary:**
Act as a bridge between organizational strategy and operational execution within the Strategic Alignment function. Lead business architecture activities, define and document current and future state architectures, and collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to shape technology roadmaps, identify AI/GenAI opportunities, and deliver value‑based solutions for a global health insurer.
**Expactations:**
- 3+ years in business architecture, enterprise business analysis, or enterprise architecture.
- Strong command of business architecture frameworks and health‑care industry practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapidly mastering new concepts.
- Experience in scaled Agile environments.
- Global perspective; ability to manage complexity across regions, business lines, and regulatory landscapes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Participate in strategy and planning sessions to shape the organization’s technology roadmap.
- Apply business architecture principles to support roadmap development and maintain competitive advantage.
- Support portfolio management, backlog refinement, and solution recommendation processes.
- Coordinate discovery engagements; gather, document, and translate business needs into requirements.
- Produce current‑state business and IT blueprints and identify gaps and opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders to define AI/GenAI opportunities that enhance value, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct gap analyses, propose solutions, and document business and IT architecture for selected options.
- Perform high‑level change impact analysis and assess unintended consequences of change initiatives.
- Validate solution designs against strategic objectives and demonstrate empirical value.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the Strategic Alignment function.
**Required Skills:**
- Business architecture & enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Business process documentation and modelling (e.g., BPMN).
- Translating business requirements into tactical specifications.
- Basic understanding of system design, data & analytics, software architecture, and engineering practices.
- AI/GenAI concepts and their application to process transformation.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Agile methodology (Scrum/SAFe) familiarity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in ambiguous environments.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Health‑Care Management, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as TOGAF, CBAP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent are advantageous.
