**Job Title** Director of Business Development **Role Summary** Lead revenue growth and business expansion across practice groups. Drive strategic client acquisition, account planning, and cross‑sell initiatives in the Legal and Insurance sectors, with a focus on Eastern Canada. **Expactations** - Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for assigned accounts. - Expand the client base by generating new opportunities and creating strategic partnerships. - Maintain in‑depth knowledge of account history, TAM, and revenue drivers. - Uphold brand integrity and deliver a superior client experience across all touchpoints. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and implement account plans, opportunity maps, and relationship maps. - Conduct quarterly regional ABM meetings and monthly internal progress reviews. - Lead cross‑sell efforts within assigned territory, introducing relevant experts to decision‑makers. - Collaborate with ABM, sales, and client service teams to align strategies with client needs. - Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and educational seminars. - Ensure data integrity in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and produce accurate reporting with PowerPoint and Excel. - Manage travel as business demands. **Required Skills** - 10–15 years selling consulting services, preferably in Legal or Insurance. - Strong analytical, strategic planning, and account‑based marketing expertise. - Proficiency in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. - Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive negotiation ability. - Self‑directed, results‑oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setting. - High integrity, honesty, initiative, diligence, resourcefulness, collaboration, and agility. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field. - No additional certifications required, but industry knowledge of Eastern Canada insurance market is essential.
