Job Description: Job title: Senior Software Developer (Front‑End) Role Summary: Lead the design and rapid prototyping of cloud‑native web applications for Seequent Labs, integrating AI models into scientific workflows. Deliver modern, interactive UI/UX designs that validate new concepts with customers and stakeholders, creating reusable frameworks that accelerate product development. Expectations: - Produce high‑quality prototypes that embed AI agents and enable intuitive user interactions. - Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. - Maintain and evolve internal front‑end libraries and prototyping standards. - Collaborate closely with product, design, and research teams to incorporate user feedback and drive innovation. - Ensure security and performance best practices across all web assets. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and iterate interactive prototypes using TypeScript and React in a cloud‑native environment. - Build reusable UI components and application scaffolding that support multiple prototypes. - Integrate internal and third‑party AI models (Python‐based where applicable) into user workflows. - Optimize front‑end architecture for 1D, 2D, and 3D geological data visualization. - Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing. - Conduct customer interviews, translate feedback into design iterations, and validate hypotheses quickly. - Uphold security standards and perform vulnerability assessments on web applications. - Transition successful prototypes into commercial product modules, ensuring maintainability and scalability. - Foster a culture of experimentation, rapid feedback, and continuous improvement.
