Job Title: Senior MEP Coordinator
Job Description: **Job Title**: Senior MEP Coordinator **Role Summary** Lead MEP coordination for the development of transit infrastructure, ensuring alignment with architectural/structural systems, 3rd party interfaces, and project goals. Drive technical integration, clash resolution, and BIM model oversight to meet timelines and quality standards. **Expectations** - Strategic oversight of MEP coordination and integration in large-scale transit projects. - Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve technical conflicts. - Proactive identification and mitigation of risks during design and construction phases. **Key Responsibilities** - Support MEP Construction Lead in planning and executing MEP coordination strategies. - Coordinate interdisciplinary activities with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. - Oversee 3D BIM model development, verify accuracy, and manage clash detection/reconciliation. - Facilitate working group meetings, identify risks, and propose solutions aligned with schedules. - Ensure MEP installations comply with building codes, safety standards, and transit-specific requirements. - Coordinate with MEP execution teams to integrate stakeholder feedback and design requirements. - Maintain documentation, progress reports, risk tracking, and schedule alignment. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project. - Expertise in BIM LOD development and clash detection/coordination tools. - Strong stakeholder management and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams. - Experience managing 3rd party MEP interfaces. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Detail-oriented approach to technical documentation and quality assurance. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. - Minimum 5 years’ experience in MEP coordination for major construction projects. - 2–3 years’ experience in transit infrastructure, preferably in underground station projects. - Preference for PMP certification.
