Job Description
**Job Title** Embedded Development Engineer – Linux C/C++ Buildroot **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain embedded solutions for access control, perimeter intrusion, and building management systems. Lead software integration into end‑product families, ensuring performance, security, and reliability across evolving product lines. **Expectations** - Lead module and firmware development for new product features - Drive continuous improvement of existing codebases - Mentor junior team members and contribute to cross‑disciplinary knowledge sharing **Key Responsibilities** - Develop, enhance, and sustain embedded software for access control, intrusion detection, and GTB products. - Ensure product security and performance by applying industry best practices and latest technologies. - Contribute to the evolution of the product simulator, guaranteeing compatibility with new functionalities. - Write and execute unit tests; participate actively in system validation. - Diagnose and resolve potential issues; propose corrective and improvement actions. - Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate feature requirements and anticipate market changes. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming. - Expertise in Embedded Linux development. - Hands‑on experience building systems with Buildroot. - Solid understanding of system architecture, cybersecurity principles, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with Jira (issue tracking and project management). - Analytical thinking, strong methodology, and a product‑centric mindset. - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, team‑oriented environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Graduate degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of professional embedded development experience in a similar role.
