**Job Title:** Head of Ecommerce
**Role Summary:**
Lead the strategy and day‑to‑day operation of the Shopify platform for a luxury brand, driving online revenue, customer experience, and growth. Own digital strategy, analytics, UX/UI, and agency partnership management to accelerate global expansion.
**Expectations:**
• Deliver measurable increase in sales, traffic, and retention.
• Optimize conversion and user experience across the site.
• Manage digital marketing budgets and performance metrics.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration and external partner relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute the e‑commerce growth strategy.
- Own site performance: traffic acquisition, conversion optimisation, and customer retention.
- Lead UX/UI enhancements and ensure seamless customer journeys.
- Plan, launch, and analyse digital campaigns; report on metrics and ROI.
- Manage digital budgets, negotiate with agencies and vendors.
- Provide analytics‑driven insights and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and IT to align initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven leadership in e‑commerce (beauty, fashion, or lifestyle preferred).
- Expert knowledge of Shopify (store setup, theme customization, app integration).
- Strong analytical skills – proficiency in Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, and conversion‑rate metrics.
- Experience with CRO tactics, A/B testing, and UX improvements.
- Digital marketing acumen (SEO, paid media, email, social).
- Budgeting, cost‑effectiveness, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E‑commerce, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Preferable certifications: Shopify Expert, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or similar digital marketing credentials.
