Job Title: Business Analyst / Scrum Master with Testing Experience
Role Summary
Lead agile delivery as a Scrum Master while performing business analysis and testing for complex software systems. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage backlog, and serve as a servant leader to remove impediments. Simultaneously gather, document, and validate requirements, translate them into user stories, and conduct functional, integration, regression, and UAT. Coordinate release activities and post‑production support to ensure high quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
Expectations
* Act as dual‑role Scrum Master and Business Analyst with a strong focus on testing.
* Deliver clear requirements, well‑defined user stories, and acceptance criteria that support efficient backlog grooming and sprint planning.
* Ensure seamless communication between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the development and testing lifecycle.
* Maintain a high standard of quality by executing thorough test scenarios and managing defect lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
1. **Scrum Master Duties**
* Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
* Coordinate cross‑team sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
* Identify and remove blockers, keep the team focused on sprint commitments.
2. **Business Analysis**
* Elicit, analyze, documentation, and validate functional and non‑functional requirements.
* Lead workshops/meetings with business stakeholders to refine and prioritize requirements.
* Convert business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
3. **Testing & QA**
* Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT test cases.
* Track and manage defects, coordinate triage, and validate fixes.
* Prepare system for UAT and production releases.
4. **Release & Support**
* Assist with production deployment validation and post‑release monitoring.
* Identify and implement corrective actions for release issues.
Required Skills
* Strong Agile/ Scrum experience with proven facilitation and backlog management.
* Expertise in business analysis – requirements elicitation, documentation, and user story creation.
* Hands‑on testing knowledge (functional, integration, regression) and defect lifecycle management.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Familiarity with project/lib/test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) preferred.
