Job title: Business Development Internship Role Summary: Intensive 11‑week undergraduate internship focused on Customer Service and Business Development. Interns receive structured training (EDGE), shadow client‑facing teams in Canada, and complete research‑based projects presented to senior management. Expectations: - Complete EDGE training and demonstrate competency. - Engage in front‑line customer service (voice, chat, email). - Participate in client prospecting, account management, and project research. - Deliver a professional presentation to the management team. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to incoming contractor customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email. - Conduct remote training on ISNetworld Platform and assist with account issues. - Assist client account functions: research prospects, prepare outreach letters, schedule and support meetings, follow‑up on new contractor subscriptions. - Execute research‑intensive projects; prepare reports and presentations. - Participate in business trips to observe client or contractor meetings. - Collaborate with teams in Dallas, Calgary, and Toronto (virtual or onsite as required). Required Skills: - Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook. - Strong verbal and written communication. - Detail‑oriented, service‑oriented, and analytical. - Ability to multitask, organize, and take initiative. - Competent presentation and research skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree program (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field). - No specific certifications required.
