Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Hybrid)
Role Summary
Lead end‑to‑end technical project delivery, ensuring alignment of scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Own the adoption and continuous improvement of project management tools and processes across the organization. Serve as the primary client contact for project execution and maintain strong cross‑functional collaboration.
Expectations
- Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget while meeting client expectations.
- Establish and standardize PM processes, tools, and governance across all projects.
- Act as the point of contact for clients during project phases prior to Account Manager engagement.
- Foster a culture of proactive risk, issue, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans (schedules, milestones, resource budgets, dependencies) using MS Project and other schedule tools.
- Conduct risk assessments, define mitigation strategies, and update risk registers.
- Monitor sprint progress, facilitate daily stand‑ups, and ensure teams meet sprint commitments.
- Manage project documentation, change requests, and scope change control.
- Lead budgeting activities: cost estimation, expense tracking, and budget variance reporting.
- Own client communication: status reports, milestone updates, and issue resolution.
- Oversee JIRA configuration, task tracking, and reporting for internal and client‑facing work.
- Maintain and administer project‑related systems (Google Drive, Slack, other collaboration tools).
- Mentor and motivate cross‑functional teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance, policies, and industry best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to PM processes and system usage.
Required Skills
- Project Management: planning, scheduling, scope, risk, budget, issue, and change management.
- Tool Proficiency: JIRA, MS Project, Google Drive, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Methodologies: Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Stakeholder Management: client liaison, executive reporting, cross‑functional collaboration.
- Leadership & Team Motivation.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Analytical and problem‑solving ability.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent.
