**Job Title:** Test Director
**Role Summary:**
Seasoned testing leader responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies for Unit4 ERP financial modules (Coda). Oversees functional, regression, integration, and non‑functional testing, ensures data integrity through SQL/ETL validation, and aligns testing activities with accounting and financial reporting standards in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
**Expectations:**
- 16‑18+ years of professional testing experience.
- Deep hands‑on expertise with Unit4 Financials (Coda) and strong knowledge of Cognos, TM1, and SQL for data validation.
- Proven ability to manage test plans, cases, and defects using tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, and TestRail.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, month‑end/year‑end processes, and digital financial products.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience leading testing teams in hybrid (on‑site/remote) settings.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and implement test strategy, scope, and schedules for Unit4 ERP financial solutions.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and non‑functional testing; perform data validation via SQL and ETL tools.
- Manage defect lifecycle, prioritize issues, and collaborate with development and business teams to resolve them.
- Generate test metrics, status reports, and risk assessments for senior leadership.
- Mentor and guide testing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Coordinate testing activities across Agile sprints and Waterfall phases, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
**Required Skills:**
- Unit4 ERP (Coda) expertise; functional knowledge of Cognos and TM1.
- Proficient in SQL and familiar with ETL tools for data verification.
- Strong background in functional, regression, integration, and non‑functional testing.
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).
- Understanding of accounting/financial reporting processes and controls.
- Agile and Waterfall methodology experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- ISTQB certification preferred (or equivalent testing qualification).
