Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer
Role Summary:
Lead and own end‑to‑end delivery of Windows‑based infrastructure across hybrid on‑prem and public cloud environments. Drive architecture, design, automation, and reliability improvements to support global trading operations.
Expactations:
- Deliver scalable, secure Windows infrastructure solutions with minimal downtime.
- Own core services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print) and ensure their stability and performance.
- Champion IaC, automation, and self‑service tooling to accelerate deployment and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams to maintain a resilient platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and roll out Windows Server projects.
- Plan and execute complex upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Build and maintain automation pipelines using PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Manage VMware/Hyper‑V/VDI virtualization and integrate with Azure/AWS workloads.
- Apply security, compliance, and governance best practices across the estate.
- Troubleshoot multi‑site, high‑impact incidents and provide root‑cause analysis.
- Document architecture, processes, and operational runbooks.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in Windows Server administration (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services.
- Experience in VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, VDI, and public cloud (Azure, AWS).
- Strong IaC experience (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
- PowerShell scripting and automation mindset.
- Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as MCSE: Windows Server, Azure Administrator, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent are preferred.
