Job Description

**Job Title** Industrial Informatics Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the design, development, installation, and commissioning of industrial automation and special‑machine equipment within aircraft manufacturing. Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives and optimise production lines for reliability and efficiency. **Expectations** * Own end‑to‑end technical delivery from concept to field commissioning. * Deliver solutions that reduce downtime, enable predictive maintenance, and optimise machine performance. * Travel up to 30 % to client sites (France and EU) for installation and support. **Key Responsibilities** • Participate in early‑stage projects and budgeting. • Propose and optimise technical solutions. • Author technical documentation: functional analyses, user manuals, test reports. • Perform detailed design studies (PLC programming, supervisory systems). • Conduct virtual simulations and platform tests. • Coordinate technical execution across client interfaces, fabrication, and site operations. • Commission and hand‑over equipment to site teams. • Develop SMART 4.0 tools for line optimisation (fault rate reduction, predictive maintenance, process efficiency). **Required Skills** * 5+ years industrial automation design & commissioning experience. * Proficiency in PLC programming (TIA Portal, Siemens, or equivalent). * Knowledge of industrial software like TIA Portal, Ecostruxure. * Familiarity with industrial IT: databases, Linux, Python, HTML, JavaScript, Android Studio. * Project‑oriented teamwork and cross‑functional communication. * Good written and spoken English. **Required Education & Certifications** * Engineering degree in Industrial Automation, Industrial Informatics, or equivalent. * Certifications in PLC programming and Industry 4.0 technologies preferred.
