Job Description: Job Title: Security Architect Role Summary: Design, build, and implement cyber security controls for complex information systems, ensuring alignment with organizational risk tolerances and industry best practices. Expectations: Deliver secure architecture solutions within project timelines, maintain compliance with utilities sector standards, and proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Map and document security architecture for applications and infrastructure. - Conduct threat‑risk assessments and validate control effectiveness. - Collaborate with operational teams to integrate security into development lifecycles. - Update security policies, protocols, and handbooks. - Lead penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and remediation programs. - Provide guidance on best practices and emerging cyber threats. Required Skills: - Strong understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.). - Experience with risk assessment, threat modeling, and control implementation. - Proficiency in network, application, and identity security solutions. - Familiarity with utilities industry cyber security requirements. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. - Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent) preferred.
