Job Description
**Job title** Data Analyst (Energy Analyst) – Contract **Role Summary** 12‑month contract position in the Global Intelligence team responsible for collecting, validating, and entering oil‑and‑gas and renewable energy data into a GIS database. The role supports the production of the Global Intelligence product suite, including maps and editorial content, and contributes to client outreach and product promotion. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, complete data entry and quality control on consistent, timely schedules. - Work independently and collaboratively with regional experts. - Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting and editorial projects. - Engage with clients and industry events, potentially traveling internationally. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Gather, interpret, QC, and input energy‑industry data (licensing, seismic, drilling, field development, production, renewables) into GIS database. 2. Standardize datasets, ensuring completeness and accuracy across all entries. 3. Produce regional activity maps and other GIS outputs for the Global Intelligence product suite. 4. Support technical production of weekly/monthly reports, including editorial content creation. 5. Collaborate with regional experts to obtain current, planned, and historical activity data. 6. Engage with clients and industry stakeholders to promote Enverus Global products and represent the company at events. **Required Skills** - Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel data analysis. - Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) and relational database concepts. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities. - Detail‑oriented with excellent written and spoken English; additional language skills are advantageous. - Self‑starter capable of independent work; strong team player. - Intellectual curiosity and a passion for energy industry knowledge. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Earth Sciences, Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or related field. - GIS or database management certification (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop Associate) preferred but not mandatory.
