Job title: Senior Data Scientist
Role Summary: Leverage statistical and machine learning expertise to design, execute, and assess data‑driven marketing campaigns. Integrate diverse customer data sources, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, and deliver actionable insights that influence creative strategy and optimize campaign lift.
Expectations:
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ingest new data sources and provide targeted analytics.
- Own end‑to‑end data lifecycle: extraction, transformation, loading, and model deployment.
- Measure campaign effectiveness using rigorous statistical methods and report significance (p‑values, confidence intervals).
- Mentor peers on coding, data science best practices, and analytical rigor.
- Prioritize automation to improve efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop hypotheses and recommend testing strategies for customer segments.
- Build and maintain powerful, cost‑effective data pipelines (batch & streaming) for high‑availability usage.
- Execute advanced analytics: hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, recommendation systems, deep learning.
- Create and maintain dashboards & reports in Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and provide actionable recommendations.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across integration projects.
- Lead MLOps initiatives: model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
- Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Big Data ecosystems.
- Expertise in relational/non‑relational database design, ETL tools, and modern query languages.
- Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing (Snowflake, Cloudera).
- Statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
- Agile project experience, self‑management, and mentoring ability.
- MLOps knowledge (model deployment, CI/CD, monitoring) preferred.
Required Education & Certifications:
- M.S. in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional data science experience.
