Job title: Senior Director, Advisory Services
Role Summary: Lead the design and execution of sales and business‑development strategies to grow member engagement and insurance product sales across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Oversee the advisory team, deliver training, ensure compliance, and drive operational excellence to enhance the member experience.
Expectations: Achieve annual sales targets, maintain high advisor NPS, expand product penetration, and cultivate internal and external partnerships while upholding regulatory and contractual standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and track annual sales goals and revenue targets using data analytics on premiums, trends, and performance metrics.
- Develop and manage business plans for advisory services, including outreach, campaigns, and event coordination.
- Provide field sales support, coaching, and guidance to advisors, monitoring and optimizing sales activities.
- Design and deliver product‑knowledge training covering insurance, retirement, pension, investment, and estate‑planning concepts.
- Lead member retention initiatives and manage the APEXA contracting process for advisors.
- Analyze KPIs, NPS scores, and operational processes to improve advisory efficiency.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency across sales processes; maintain licensing and CE requirements.
- Create advisor tools, collaborate on financial‑literacy initiatives, and develop new partnership opportunities.
- Handle member complaints and escalations, mentoring staff on resolution and process improvement.
Required Skills: Strategic planning, sales & business‑development leadership, data analytics, coaching & performance management, compliance & regulatory knowledge, deep product expertise in insurance, retirement, investment, pension, estate planning, strong communication, presentation, relationship building, Salesforce proficiency, process improvement.
Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Commerce; LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) license mandatory; CFP or CLU certifications are an asset. Experience in insurance, investments, retirement, pension, and estate‑planning for incorporated professionals is essential.
